The post-rock instrumental band Beyond The Dune Sea recorded a number of live jams that were then organized in post-production by Adam Kennedy. The result is this moody but fascinating self-titled album. Sort of a mixture of post-rock and jam rock with a taste of psychedelica. It is one of those albums that holds up best when it is played from beginning to end. Asides from production work, Kennedy plays drums and bass and is rounded out by guitar Kyle Mewhinney and keyboardist Ross Love to make this interesting trio.
