Felipe Sarro - Bach: Original Works and Transcriptions
Brazilian classical pianist Felipe Sarro has already entranced us with a collection of Alkan compositions. Now he is offering another free album. This time it is Johann Sebastian Bach in both original compositions and piano transcription by Alexander Ilyich Siloti. I especially like Sarro’s take on the fourth French Suite. Siloti’s transcriptions include some nice translations of cantatas and sonata rewritten for the piano.
