Robin Grey - Strangers With Shoes
Strangers With Shoes is another excellent coffeehouse folk album from the superlative singer/songwriter Robin Grey. I have waxed poetically about his past two releases Only The Missile and I Love Leonard Cohen and there is nothing here that would cause me to use less wax. Again, Grey displays his intimate but comfortable voice on an impressive collection of original songs. The album get to a great start with “Younger Looking Skin”, one of his best songs. However all of the tracks retain a casual yet lyrical personal feeling. The instrumental backing is impeccable throughout. Two songs “Shakes and Shudders” and “I Love Leonard Cohen” are repeats from the I Love Leonard Cohen EP yet it is nice to hear them again. This is an excellent album of British nu-folk.
The album is available from the artists Modifythevan net label and can be download from its Jamendo page through the link below.

This sounds to good to be true, a free copy of an up and coming singer. Hope to get it soon. Thanks
