Zoo - Trilogi Peradaban
The Indonesian cornucopia of music on netlabel Yes No Wave gets especially weird with this online album by a group of anarchic rockers called Zoo. The 25 minute EP titled Trilogi Peradaban, actually a trilogy of three shorter EP that come together in a download zip, is an unrelenting barrage of screaming and frenzied musicianship . I’m not sure of their point most the time but the brevity of most tracks makes this music not only tolerable but interesting. The two longer tracks, “Kelana” and “Eskalator” gives the band a chance to stretch out a little. I admit I have a soft spot for chaotic experiments like this, so give it a listen. It might help you break that apartment lease you have been trying to get rid of.
