Update (Cough!)
If case you wonder why I haven’t been posting much, the pesky little H1N1 flu…a much better and more accurate name than Swine Flu…has made a visit to my house. At the very least I’ve developed a strange kinship with Brian Littrell who looks exactly how I feel. I think it’s on the downswing, not the worst flu I’ve ever had but in the top five.
In the meantime, most of you already know about my new connection with the Free Music Archive. However, Free Albums Galore is now a curator which means I’ll be downloading some of the goodies from this blog to FMU as soon as I gain my energy back. I’m especially interested in hearing from artists whose Creative Commons Licensed albums have been featured here but are no longer available for download. Wouldn’t it be nice to give them a new home?
One more little goodie. I recently notice that Mojo Nixon has almost everything he released available for free over at Amazon for “a limited tme”. I always knew he was a little wacko. Check it out (U.S. only).
Mojo Nixon’s MP3’s are sadly only available to Amazon’s US customers. Thanks for the link anyway.

Thanks for the Mojo Nixon pointer. I already have most of these from when I was an eMusic Unlimited subscriber, but they are all 128kbps, while the Amazon versions are higher quality. So, I get an upgrade.

ok, ill be first to wish you a speedy recovery! I’ve so far managed to avoid any flu like illnesses so far this year!

Thanks from me as well for the tip about Mojo Nixon’s free albums. You’d think since I live in San Diego I would have already heard about it. So instead I spread the word to my locals.
