Mamushkas – MHKS EP
In perusing the Lepork Records’ Mixtapes series, I took an instant liking to the South American punk group Mamushkas. Their EP titled MHKS is one of the current offerings from Lepork Records and I was immediately taken in by the catchy melodies and heavy hooks of this band. They remind me a bit of The Ramones; rebellious but with the appeal of a teen matinee idol. While the lyrics are in Spanish, the infectious attitude rings loud and clear. Give this 20 minute taste of Southern Hemisphere punk a try.
