Pseudo - Gnostic Guitar II
As much as I loved Gnostic Guitar Vol. 1. it is a bit puzzling why I waited so long to feature Vol. II of this surreal and serene collection of ambient tracks. Pseudo combines guitar and electronics into soundscapes that both amaze and calm. The variety of sounds are even more varied on this outing. The use of whispers and spoken word is especially prevalent on “Bound to Earth” and “Spilling Secrets”. Minimalist guitar phrases are embellished and shaped by electronic sounds to the point of lulling the listener into an altered state. This is an excellent journey into ambient environments.
