Free Albums Galore :: I am The Architect

I Am The The Architect mixes post-rock, shoegaze and classical into a sound that is just a little different than most of the instrumental post-rock groups that crowd the internet. Their album is simply titled 11 and is available from the Lost Children net label. While they certainly have their share of blaring guitars and massive chords, the artists also exhibit a calmer classical side that makes this a very interesting band. “Quit” exhibits this quieter side at the beginning of this well structured work leaving the full out assault for the conclusion. All four tracks are well planned and well executed. I listen to a lot of post-rock groups but this is one of the few albums that survived several listens with each one revealing something new.
