Audio Victim - Divine Delusion

It took me quite a few listens to warm up to Divine Delusion by the dark ambient/industrial duo of Audiovictim. But soon the mixture of hard beats, coarse electronic sounds, and growling lyrics started to grow on me. This is not relaxing music, but tense walls of sounds made for dark dancing in dark night clubs. What makes this different from the rest of these industrial electro -punk efforts is that there are some decent melodies lingering in the noise that gives the listener some kind of grounding. Scorchtone manages some very creative arranging and mixing while Eddie Entropy provides the odd vocals that are more sound effect than actual vocals. “Remain in Sight” is a good sample track and one of the more accessible. I’m sure this is not for everyone but it is worth a try. Maybe you will get hooked on it like I did.

The album is available in 192kbps MP3.

  1. VERY good music! Thanks for bringing this album to my attention. One listen so far (on my mp3 player on the bus on the way home from work) and I’m hooked.
