Sonhos - Sonhos
Here’s some lovely Spanish music from an acoustic trio featuring Susana Garrido Pombo on vocals, Pedro Ospina on bandola, and Jose Saura on quitar. Sonhos and its self-titled EP is a nice departure from the rock and electronic music that usually crowd the net label scene. Ms. Pombo has a sure but sensuous style that reminds me of Brazilian vocalist Luciana Souza while Ospina and Saura keeps up with her with equal virtuosity. Although the EP will mainly attract world music and jazz fans, this is a keeper in anyone’s collection.
