Interesting stuff. Old-school Pink Floyd fans will find this material very familiar since it lifts templates from a number of early Floyd tunes from the Atom Heart Mother and Meddle days - right down to the production, chord progressions and Gilmour-like slide guitar. While these tunes make for good-listening, even the self-possessed Floyd knew to slide-in a few lighter-listening pieces between the more spacey-bits (think San Tropez and Seamus)...Mass of the Sun just keeps-on with the heavy stuff which, unless you have it on as filler music, can get a bit monotonous. However, as I loved this period of often overlooked Floyd-ism, I really enjoy these albums.

Hi Christian.

Thanks for setting the record straight. It will be nice to see more info on your site since you are a band that deserves to be known. Good luck on the new album.

Hello Marvin.
I happened to find your review of the albums palms and minds and Rymdkupa. I liked your reviews very much. But one thing is not right in your description of the web site, the gigs wasn't canceled, they are past shows, except for one. We are also working on another album "Cosmic Lullabies" which will be a dual CD conceptual album. We will update the website to the greater good soon, and in late mars, a lot of live video footage + live mp3s will be up.
Thanks again for your review!
Best regards/ The Mass of the Sun collective
