Quest.Room.Project - Room Number: Fiducial Banality
Here is a great example of the exceptional music you may find on the internet that you surely will never hear on the radio or stumble into during your everyday routine. Room Number: Fiducial Banality is released by the Test Tube netlabel and performed by Quest.Room.Project. This Russian ensemble creates walls of sounds that are both aesthetically pleasing and sensually over-powering. “The Reason For The Surfacing” is my favorite track and features a solo flute that floats over the intense electronic arrangement only to be slowly enveloped in it. It is often hard to determine how much of QRP’s instrumention is acoustic or electronic. “Assemblage” is somewhat industrial while “Possession” is almost meditative. This is unique music that stays with you.
