Bach - Die Kunst der Fuge (The Art of the Fugue)
Johann Sebastian Bach’s Art of the Fugue is a monumental collection of contrapunctual compositions. It is a virtual encyclopedia of the techniques and tricks that Bach had at his disposal. While it was unfinished at his death, and even the number of pieces that comprised it was uncertain, it has developed into one of the definitive keyboard compositions in the history of classical music.
This performance is by pianist Chris Breemer. The last two works are played as a duet with Evelina Vorontsova. The tracks are available in 160kbps MP3 from The Piano Society.
