The Arrogants - two albums

Genre: Rock, Pop

The Arrogants have a soft rock sound smelling of candles and ocean spray. Jana Heller’s sweet vocal style can lull you into a calm or rock you ever so slightly. Their sound is very reminiscent of The Cranberries and The Sundays. She is backed nicely by Jayd McFerson on guitar, Jeffrey McFerson on synthesizers, Jon McFerson on bass, and Billy Pena on drums.

Two albums are available on their web site for free downloading. Nobody’s Cool and Your Simple Beauty were recorded in 2000. They both have a sense of relaxed joy throughout the songs. “The Moment’s Gone” is that type of bittersweet song that makes me feel a little younger. “Lovesick” and “The Distances Between Us” are nice rockers with a Go-Gos influence. This is a good album for those lazy afternoons.

Both albums are available in 160kbps MP3. If you enjoy the music, support the artists by buying their CDs.
