Most of you have probably noticed it but I recently added a second album directory. The directories are now in chonological and alphabetical order. I did this at the request of several readers and because the chronological order was getting too cumbersome to work with. Hopefully it will be easier to find specific artists and I will be less likely to duplicate an album.

Richard Thompson has a generous amount of MP3s and other goodies on his download page. I want to especially recommend his hilarious tirade on Kenny G called “I agree With Pat Metheny”. He even manages to take an extra swipe at Michael Bolton at the end. And if you think that’s funny, you gotta listen to “Dear Janet Jackson”.

I think most people will agree that Led Zeppelin’s “Stairway To Heaven” is one of the great rock songs of all time. Many people would also agree with me when I say “I’ve heard it too often and am tired of it”. For those who are not tired of it, here are 101 covers, courtesy of WFMU.

Take Your Medicine offers a witty anthropological study of MP3 blogs. The problem is that I can’t figure out what species I am. Maybe I’m Literaturus Eclecti. The line about “Paragraphs of ramblings. Occasionally unintelligble” rings a bell, doesn’t it?
