American Music Club - Everclear
Download.Com offers a lot of free MP3s but this may be the first full album made available on their site. They picked a good one too. The 1991 release, Everclear by American Music Club is a masterpiece of introspective alternative rock. Mark Eitzel’s darkly personal lyrics and intimate vocals made the band stand out from much of the commerical “alternative” rock that was hyped in the 90s. The highlights for me include the almost gothic “The Dead Part Of Me”, the ethereal ballad “Why Won’t You Stay” and the U2 sounding “Rise”.
The album is available in 192MP3. If you like the music, support the artists and buy their albums. Note: “Another Morning” is from another AMC release. The rest of the tracks make up the full release of Everclear
