Hello!

Genre: Editorial

Hi everyone. My name is Marvin and I am honored to be taking over Free Album Galore. Luke has done a marvelous job finding and presenting high quality online albums. My challenge will be to continue the same commitment to quality music that Luke has shown.

You won’t really see much change here. The interface and design will remain pretty much the same. Of course, any individual will bring their own subjective taste and personality to a site like this. But, like Luke did, I will strive to present a variety of music. I want the reader to come here again and again eager to know what type of music they will discover this time. Whether it’s rock, jazz, classical, electronic, or something totally off the wall, my key words for choosing albums will be quality and listenability.

As for me, I’m an ordinary guy who loves to explore music and loves to write. This gives me a chance to do both. If that isn’t enough, you might want check out my humor and music review column, The Dawg’s Blog for a different take on my mildly warped mind.

Good luck to Luke on his future endeavors and best wishes for a great New Year to everyone. Here’s to a year of exciting free and legal music. If you wish to recommend albums or just want to say hi, email me at freealbumsgalore@yahoo.com.

  2. Marvin, I’ve recently stumbled across your blog here and fell in love with A Beautiful Machine. Great idea and an excellent job you’ve done here. I’d like to outlink to your blog as a kind of inspiration on mine.
