Bitter Tea for Breakfast plays bittersweet alternative pop, sort of a cross between a melancholoy Divine Comedy and a stripped-down Eels. My favorites are “Because of You, Wigs” and “The Loneliest Spaceman” from Blueprints For A Medical Building, and “A Moot Point, To Be Sure” and “Dream Caused Interrupted by a Phone Call” from Alarming New Evidence Of Pathological Self-Sabotage.
